If your family is anything like my family then Christmas is a huge event. We all pile in to my mom’s house. It’s not a large house, perfect fit for a grandma, but we all pack in for this special day each year. When the whole family is gathered and the conversation is going great with laughter and cheer thick in the air, that, to me, is what Christmas is all about. Spending time with the people you love. Weather them people are blood, or not does not matter.
I always feel bad however, when I see the family members that have not made the switch have to interrupt their great conversations and this time spent with family to go outside to smoke. I remember being in their shoes. I hated freezing out in the cold, puffing on my “must have” cigarette while my loved ones laughed and made memories inside. It’s amazing to me how many pictures and moments I missed when I was a slave to my nicotine addiction. There is just no option to the no smoking in the house rule though. It’s would have been rude of me to ask to smoke inside, because I know that smoking is bad for me but I wanted to do it, so so what. However my loved ones choose not to smoke because it is bad for them, what right do I have to force it on them via second hand smoke?
This is now my third Christmas with A Clean Cigarette, and that means three Christmases of NOT having to go out in the cold to get my nicotine. Mind you, I like my nicotine. So not having nicotine is not an option for me. But changing my nicotine delivery method gave me options I never even knew I had. Now I can take a puff of nicotine and my family does not even notice. It also means three Christmases that I have had the opportunity to spend more time with the people that matter and less time separate and out in the cold.
If you or some one you love spends more time out side puffing then inside living stop in to A Clean Cigarette. Let us help you enjoy this season a whole lot more. If you are thinking about making the switch as a New Years Resolution, consider doing it a little sooner. See what I mean about not missing the little moments and the memories that they make.
