Hey it’s Dawn. I am so glad to see you all again! Well, today has been a very exciting day for A Clean Cigarette. The unfortunate truth is that since the e-cigarette industry exploitation, nicotine poisoning is on the rise. Especially in the case of young children. Take a look at this chart with information that was provided by the American Association of Poison Control Centers. Click the picture to get to their site. ⇓
That is a very large increase. When liquid vials of concentrated nicotine are brightly labeled and then filled with yummy smelling fluid, it is only a matter of time before a child get’s a hold of it. Take a look at this Channel 10 News story for some useful information. They have a lot to say and I even make a quick appearance too!! Just click the link 🙂 The main message we want to get out is that with A Clean Cigarette brand e-cigarette you simply do not have to worry about accidental ingestion of liquid flavored nicotine. We do not sell it. Our cartridges are a closed sealed cartomizer that is not designed to be opened or added to in any way. Our one use product, keeps public safety in mind.
Why did we decide to stay with this type of design? Well back in 2010 When Cary Lee the owner of A Clean Cigarette talked to the FDA he asked them. What is really the worry you guys have about this product. They said if you put candy flavored nicotine in vials, children WILL get hurt. It’s not a matter of if, it’s a matter of when. Cary did not like the sound of that type of liability. See we are not saints, we are just really trying to bring back common sense in the business world. It just makes sense that if we can avoid the risk of poisoning children by sticking with a Cig-A-Like design we should. Add to that the fact that most long term smokers want something that is like their current habit. Not a device with small parts that need to be replaced and cotton candy type flavors.
